Palm Sunday-World Youth Day and Mini Gotong Royong

Yesterday, Friday 18th March 2016,  we celebrated Palm Sunday with a longer procession route and also World Youth Day and after mass, we had a mini Gotong Royong to prepare for Easter. Fr. Francis blessed the palms and gave a short homily on the meaning of Christ entry into Jerusalem on a donkey. After Thanksgiving, a short video clip on Holy Week was projected and then the youths who were animating the mass, were called to the sanctuary for a special blessing on World Youth Day. After mass, parishioners were set to work, cleaning the various sections of the church and surroundings in preparation for Easter next week. Thanks to all who participated.
