Last night and today, 20 volunteers for the newly set-up Prison Ministry together with 7 interested parishioners attended sessions on the prison ministry given by Mr. and Mrs. Benedict Savarimuthu form Kuala Lumpur. Ben shared his many experiences with the prison ministry and also with drug addicts at drug rehabilitation centers. He also shared his discovery of God and His love for us and the prisoners, It was his many testimonies and personal stories of faith which amazed his listeners and encouraged participants to deepen their spiritual and faith life. We would like to thank Ben and Teresa for their commitment in coming all the way to share their experiences with us. May God bless our new ministry which has yet to take off.
