Holy Thursday

We celebrate the Last Supper and the Institution of the Eucharist and the Priesthood. Our celebration today reminds us that the Eucharist is closely connected to loving service, especially the priesthood. Just as Jesus washed the feet of His disciples, we too are called to humble service to each other and to the Church. This year, it was the first time, women and youth had their feet washed besides the traditional elderly men.

After the mass, parishioners spent some time in front of the Blessed Sacrament in adoration, to 'watch and pray' together with our Lord in his hour of Agony in the Garden.
