his evening, the Mass of the Lord's Supper was celebrated by His Grace, Archbishop Emeritus Murphy Pakiam, (our priest in residence). In his homily, delivered in English and for the first time in Bahasa Malaysia, His Grace reminded us that we were celebrating 3 events or mysteries -
the Institution of the Eucharist , the Institution of the Priesthood and the commandment of the Lord concerning fraternal charity, through the Washing of Feet. Our
Family celebration today reminds us that the Eucharist is closely connected to
loving service, especially the priesthood. Just as Jesus washed the feet of His
disciples, we too are called to be humble in our service to each other and to
the Church.
