This morning, 8 young artists from Kuala Lumpur together with their sponsor from the Canadian High Comission, attended the weekend mass to see for themselves how Christians, in particular Catholics worship. After the mass, they were shown around the church compound by Sr. Jackie and then treated to breakfast with some of our youths and young adults together with Fr. Francis Andrew. The group asked many questions in the informal dialog. After breakfast, they had a question and answer session after reviewing a short presentation of the church history, traditions and activities, Some were curious about our faith and what they heard about the Catholic church, eg. exorcism and how it was done. Before they left, a group photo was taken. The group of young artists will later proceed to visit the oldest mosque from Kampung Laut at Nilam Puri, and hold dialog sessions at the Hindu and Sikh and Buddhist Temples. Among them were a Muslim, Buddhists and Atheists. We hope that this Projek Dialog will encourage more young Malaysians to open their eyes to other religions so that they may be able to understand, and learn to live in peace and harmony with one another.
