KENYA, A MISSION, A JOURNEY, A STORY

Today, a group of 35 parishioners took time off to attend a session by Sr. Mollie Lim, fmm.
Sr. Molly has been outreaching in Kenya for the last 5 years. She shared her missionary experience on her Outreach Missison and Attachment in Turkana County, Kenya. Among her experiences were reaching out to the poor who have mass under the trees, teaching young girls basics in home-making, and living under local conditions without electricity, and other basic necessities. Yet, the faith of the local people are so great that Confirmation can last a whole day, as the local Bishop conducts the Sacrament for a large number of confirmands.
