Palm Sunday or Passion Sunday in Kota Bharu is celebrated on the Friday before the actual Palm Sunday each year.
This year we are really fortunate to have a Bishop and an Archbishop to celebrate mass with us. As it is also World Youth Day, the mass was animated by our youths who are all members of KCYS or the Kelantan Catholic Youth Society coordinated by Sr. Jackie Pan, fmm.
Bishop of Penang, Msgr. Sebastian Francis and Archbishop Emeritus Murphy Pakiam (who is now our priest in residence) concelebrated the Palm Sunday Service. To joyous shouts of Hosanna in the Highest, the congregation processed into the church waving their blessed palms.
